When you first start out scrap booking, you may not feel a need to have a designated space to scrapbook. Many people just use a dining room table. I too started like this but I was living at home with mum so I used my bedroom floor. I didn’t have any sort of scrap booking storage system. But as I started to do more and more scrap booking and bought more and more scrap booking supplies I decided I needed to get organized and have a special scrap booking area. So I went out looking for some simple scrap book storage solutions. First thing I needed to get was a desk. I started off with a small computer desk
It has draws both side which is great for storing some bits and pieces in. Next I needed to buy something to store all my cardstock and paper in. So I bought something similar to a portfolio. I use this to hold all my 330cm x 30cm paper and card stock. Then I thought what would I do with all my scrap bits of paper. It seemed like a waste to just through them out. So I decided to keep them but then I needed to work out how I was going to store the scraps. Then I decided that a bookcase would be a good place to store a lot of the little bits and pieces so I went out and got one. Another handy scrap booking storage item is a desktop caddy/carousel.
